Governance

The GFG Foundation shares a passion, vision and aim globally, however each country the Foundation has a presence in is a separate entity, which is governed by the individual legislation of that country.

In the UK the GFG Foundation (UK) is registered and regulated by the Charity Commission for England and Wales. All information on us, including governance, trustees, financial history, accounts and annual returns and governing document can be found on their website.

The GFG Foundation UK is governed by an experienced Board of Trustees, comprised of founders Sanjeev and Nicola Gupta, and the following trustees.

Georgina Crumpton

Georgina is the General Manager GFG Alliance and GFG Foundation. She is Nicola Gupta’s sister.

Before joining GFG Alliance, Georgina held senior positions within leading global financial institutions, most recently as a Director at Plurimi Wealth Management as Head of Business Support.

She was previously Vice-President at Morgan Stanley International Wealth Management and divided her time between London and Switzerland, where she successfully managed the wind-down and transition of the Alternative Investments assets during the sale of Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management business.

Before this, Georgina was the coordinator of the Alternative Investments platform throughout EMEA. She also managed the Cross Divisional Relationship Business through the Private Investment Club & Strategic Lead Management platforms.

Our Management Team

Claire Neilson, Manager of the GFG Foundation in the UK.

Claire studied at The University of Sheffield, where she achieved a First-Class Honours degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Organometallic Chemistry.

She has worked for Liberty Steel and its predecessors for 20 years, gaining experience in a variety of departments, including Technical, Operations, Commercial and HR.

Claire is passionate about encouraging young people to studying Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) based subjects at school and beyond.
