The GFG Foundation has now successfully completed its application to become a registered charity in Scotland following successful completion of the process in England and Wales; this allows the Foundation to promote and deliver on its objectives, as well as fundraise, in Scotland. The Foundation's next objective is to become registered in Australia reflecting the growing GFG Alliance footprint.
His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales yesterday (Wednesday 7th March) attended the second Industrial Cadets annual Award ceremony at the Institution of Engineering and Technology in London. The GFG Foundation was the event's headline sponsor, demonstrating the Foundation's commitment to the growth of the Industrial Cadets programme. Jay Hambro, a GFG Foundation trustee, spoke at the event, as well as Prince Charles who appointed Sanjeev Gupta as an Ambassador for Industrial Cadets.
Engineering is in the spotlight for 2018 as the Government aims to inspire the next generation to get involved with engineering; the GFG Foundation is playing its part by supportuing Industrial Cadets as well as developing scholarships to support students through their engineering studies.
